What is Kasha?
Kasha means “storage box “ in Swahili and kasha.mobi is an online storage box where you can store/save all of your important, favorite, sentimental or funny SMS messages for life!
How do I join?
Send the word JOIN to 2273 or visit www.kasha.mobi from your phone or PC.
How do I store/save a SMS?
Simply forward the SMS message you want to save to 2273.
How long will my SMS be saved for?
We will save your SMSs for life! That is we will never delete your saved SMSs, subject to our Terms & Conditions. You can additionally provide us with your email address when signing up or under the settings page and we will email all your saved SMSs to you as well. That's two safe, easily accessible locations for all your prized SMS messages.
How much does it cost?
It costs Kshs.5/- for every SMS sent to 2273. Viewing your saved SMS is free of charge.
What networks is it available on?
Kasha.mobi is available in Kenya on Safaricom, Zain, Yu & Orange networks. We are adding more countries and networks so keep checking to see if your country/network is covered.
Are my saved SMS safe?
The short answer is YES!
The long one is we store your messages in a safe and secure database which only you have access to.
Can I save messages longer than 160 characters?
Yes you can. Messages longer then 160 will be saved as one SMS in your kasha account, but please note they will be charged accordingly based on Ksh 5 per SMS (160 characters)
Why can't I edit my saved SMS?
We don't allow you to edit your saved messages so that we can preserve their integrity based on how you forwarded them to kasha.mobi. You can however add notes to each message which you can edit as you wish.
